Cy. Williams, a visiting American wrestler, has been refused a permit to wrestle in Wellington by Commissioner Wohlmann. —(P.A.) The Wheat Purchase Board, having satisfied itself that the milling requirements of New Zealand for the current year have been substantially filled or arranged for and that there is a certain amount of f.a.q. wheat which can be made available as fowl feed, has decided to reduce the selling price of the board’s stocks of wheat for fowl feed to 4s Id a bushel, sacks extra, f.o.b. South Island ports for shipment to the North Island. This is a reduction of 3d bushel on the existing price, and it takes effect on July 5 and will operate to assist the poultry farmers in the North Kland.
