WINDMILL ’PLANE.
MANUFACTURING RIGHTS SECURED. LONDON, March 13. The first serious effort to place the Windmill aeroplane on the British market on a large scale is represented by the Avro Company’s acquisition from the Gierva Autogiro Company of the rightXo manufacture and sale of the Autogiro, of which the Air Ministry ordered a number for experimental use with the R.A.F. and Army co-opera-tion squadrons. The Autogiro has a speed with a range from 15 to over 106 miles an hour.
