RANGITUMAU SCHOOL PICNIC.

The annual picnic of the Rangitumau School, which was held on Mr. Erie Wilton’s property on Friday last, was a decided success from every point of view. Mr. J. E. Duckett (chairman) presented every child with a book in addition to the prizes won in the races. There was a large attendance of parents, friends and children who thoroughly enjoyed the picnic. The following were the results of the events held:— Boys’ Events. 100 Yards, 12 years and over: Guy Duckett 1, Bert Frew 2. 75 Yards, 10 years and over: Malcolm Stuart 1, Walter Mortensen 2.
