FORCED LANDING.
SOVIET ’PLANE IN EASTERN MANCHUKUO. STRONG PROTEST FORECASTED. (Received Wednesday, 7.10 p.m.) TOKIO, March 14. It is officially stated that a Soviet ’plane fell or made a forced landing in the vicinity of Lake Hanka, in eastern Manchukuo. The two Soviet pilots, were arrested. The War Office, it is foreshadowed, will send a strong protest to Moscow.
