FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
UNITED DISPENSARY ANNUAL MEETING. There was a large and representative attendance of brethren at the annual meeting of the Masterton United Friendly Societies’ Dispensary, held last night. The president, Bro. C. H. Anderson, occupied the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted and a considerable amount of routine business was transacted. Bro. Anderson was re-elected president and Bro. G. Norris, vice-pre-sident. Mr. A. D. Low was re-elected auditor.
Reference was made by several membe* to the good work carried out by Bro. Anderson and also to the efficient work of the manager, Mr, L. J. Taylor and Mrs. Taylor,
