PLAGUE IN INDIA.
EPIDEMIC IN DEVASTATED AREA. (Received This Day, *0.9 a.m.) CALCUTTA, March 9. Bubonic plague has broken out in all epidemic form in the Bettiah district in the devastated area of Bihar. Doctors and nurses are being rushed to the scene. The Viceroy (Lord Willingdon) flew from Patna to Delhi to-day at the conclusion of a three day tour of the earthquake area, where he took part in a conference on relief measures.
