WEATHER REPORTS.
Masterton: Miss R. Robinson reported as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday:—Barograph, 30.20; shade temperature, maximum, 80.8; minimum, 54.4; terrestrial, 58.4; sunshine, 10 hours 30 minutes.
The Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) reported at 4 p.m. yesterday as fallows:—A shallow depression is still situated west of the Auckland Peninsula and a slight westerly depression is crossing the south Tasman while a fairly intense anti-eyclone lies to the east of New Zealand. Forecast: Winds variable and mainly light to moderate, with north-easterly to north-westerly predominating. Weather fair and warm generally, but further scattered rain likely in the Auckland Province, some showers later in Westland and the far south.
