INDIAN FAMILY WIPED OUT. DISCOVERY OF PACT. (Received Friday, 9.55 p.m.) CALCUTTA, April 7. What appears to be a murder and suicide pact was discovered at a sacred hill in Madras. Six bodies were found on a raised mound and a seventh, that of a middle-aged Indian, was hanging from a tree. A letter on this body indicated that the man was a native of Trichinopoly. His family was destitute and unhappy so he decided to kill his wife, two sons, two daughters and baby before committing suicide. There is evidence that the last moments were spent at a meal and in prayer. '■
