PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the Pahiatua sale as follows: A good entry of sheep was submitted to a large attendance of local buyers. There was a very limited demand for ewes while Lambs met with a good sale. The following is the range of prices:—Good 4- old ewes 8/3, 7/10, 7/7 to 7/3; 5- ewes, 5/4 to 6/10; aged ewes, 3/6 to 4/5; 2-th. wethers, 9/- to 9/10; fat and forward b.f. lambs, 8/- to 10/-; medium do., 7/1; good shorn w.f. lambs, 9/6; w.f. woolly wether lambs 7/1; ewe lambs, 7/-; cull lambs, 4/- to 5/4; Romney rams> Ign.; Southdown rams, I'lgns.
