SAFE HOME AGAIN.

AMY JOHNSON REACHES CROYDON. DELAYS FROM ALGERIA ONWARD STORM'S OVER THE ATLAS. LONDON, December 18. Mrs J. A. Mollison (Amy Johnson) landed at Croydon at 12.5 ajn. from Capetown which she left on December 11 in an attempt to beat the record of the Duchess of Bedford. She made good progress from Capetown to Algeria, being delayed only some hours by fog in the equatorial belt. At Beni Ounif on the northern fringe of the Sahara, where she landed on December 14, she struck Uad weather and was unable to proceed for some time owing to snowstorms in the Atlas Mountains which she had to cross. Finally she reached Oran, Algeria, on Friday, December 16, two days late. She left Oran for Croydon at 5 a.m. yesterday.
