BREAK-UP PARTY.
RANGERS, GUIDES & BROWNIES
PRESENTATION TO MRS. JORDAN.
A joyous break-up party was held in the beautiful garden of Mrs. T. Jordan on Saturday, when the Rangers, Guides and Brownies assembled to enjoy out of door competitions and festivities. The Rangers and Guides found plenty to amuse them in the various contests, while the Brownies had a merry and happy time in hunting for hidden treasures. A committee provided refreshments and Mrs. Jordan entertained the executive at afternoon tea An opportunity was taken to present Mrs. Jordan (Commissioner), as a token of esteem, with a prayer book, in commemoration of the 21st anniversary of the Girl Guide Movement, this being the first occasion since the anniversary when all the companies and packs had assembled together. The fly leaf of the prayer book is beautifully lettered in appropriate terms, the work being earned ont by one of the Guiders.
