Primary athletic champion: Boy, D. Gayfer; girl, I. Cross. Secondary athletic championship: Boy, J. ‘Steel; girl, M. Hack. South Wairarapa primary schools tennis ehampionship: M. Pauling. Primary tennis championship: A. Lawrence. Gardening (secondary boys’ homo gardens gaining over 80 per cent): T. Harp, C. Wadham, G. Dykes, A. Harp, A. Clarke, W. Adair. Special gardening prize donated by Miss Aplin for plot gaining over 95 per cent.: D. Wadham. SjP.C.A. essay competition: Mary Morgan, G. McPherson, B. Wallace. Dux of School: Betty Fisher (1453 marks). Proximo Access: t: Billy Kokiri (1431 marks). Others with high marks were R. Chew (1425), and D. Magnusson (1396).
