ADVENTUROUS VOYAGE.
BETH BEACHES ADELAIDE SAFELY, TERRIFIC BUFFETING AT SEA. (Received Friday, 8.10 p.m.) ADELAIDE, December 16. The forty-foot motor yacht Beth arrived here after a long and adventurous voyage from Auckland, begun on September 17. The crew, including two New Zealanders, Messrs Cecil Bowman and Basil Stallard, make light of their experiences, but the Beth’s log reveals that the little craft received a terrific buffeting. The crew was battened down for 84 hours at a time.
