AUSTRALIAN SUGAR.
FIRST SHIPMENT REACHES HALIFAX.
(Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) HALIFAX, August 29. Ike first cargo of Australian sugar has reached here in the motorship Astrahnd. Two thousand five hundred tons were unloaded at St. John and five thousand is going to Halifax.
