LODGE AFFAIRS.
FORESTERS’ FORTNIGHTLY MEETING'. The Foresters’ Lodge held its usual meeting on Monday night, when there was a large attendance of members, presided over by C.R. Bro. R. A. Larsen. The sick visitors reported that sick members were progressing favourably, and that three brothers had been declared on the funds and two declared off. The secretary was instructed ho forward a letter of condolence to Bro. G. Devenport in the loss of his wife. The secretary presented the quarterly returns and balance sheet, which showed that the lodge was still progressing favourably. The trustees reported on the alteration of the lodge room, and it was decided to carry on with the same. A committee was formed to interview members in connection with taking debentures for the raising of money for alterations. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £ll 8s 4d were passed for payment.
