ROBERTSON' DEFEATED. (Received Tuesday, .fl.'lfi p.m.) BRISBANE, September 1. . In the semi-finals of the Australian singles bowls championship, Robertson (New Zealand) beat Maughan. (Queens* land), 31/17; Dobbie (Victoria) beat Lowe (New South Wales), 31/28. In the final, Dobbie beat Robertson, 31/30. Maughan beat' Lowe for third place. Robertson was accorded an ovation for his splendid fight. . : ' 1
