OUTRAGE IN SYDNEY.
TRAM CONDUCTOR ATTACKED & ROBBED. SYDNEY, November 4. Battered into sensibility by two men who boarded his tram at Botany, Lindsay Elms, a tram conductor, was robbed of his takings, amounting to several pounds. Ho was later taken to hospital.
The tram had only a few people aboard, and before anyone could interfere Elms was sandbagged, and his cash satchel pulled from his shoulders.
