ANNUAL BAZAAR.
ST. MATTHEW’S COLLEGE. TODAY’S EVENT. The annual bazaar of St. Matthew’s Collegiate School will be held in the school grounds this afternoon, commencing at 2 o’clock. There will be a plentiful Supply of goods on the various stalls, and afternoon tea, etc., will be obtainable. Particularly well stocked with a wide variety of high clasa goods will be the work stall, . while upon the other stalls will be displayed goods which should have a ready sale. Numerous competitions will be held during the afternoon. The “Old Firm” will have charge of that popular children’s item, “The Wedding Cake,” all the articles in which are worth more than the price asked for a “slice” (6d). Those in charge of the cake stall will have a particularly appetising display of high grade cakes and dainties. The girls of the school and the Fathers will also conduct stalls. A special feature of the bazaar will bo the flower stall and the jumble stall. Donations towards the jumble stall will be greatly appreciated. Those in search of Christmas gifts should make a point of visiting the bazaar.
