MEETING OF WAIRARAPA CLAIMS BOARD.
A meeting of the Claims Board of th® Wairarapa Patriotic Association Wos held yesterday. There were present: Messrs. J. M. Cora dine (presiding), R. R. Burridge, H. M. Bdddington, L. 8. Nicol and G. H. Perry. Twenty-six cases came (before the board for consideration or reconaideratien, and ten outstanding loan cases were reviewed. Eleven applications from soldiers in necessitous circumstances and requiring relief were Mealt with. A letter was received from the National War Funds Council enclosing a cheque for £5O towards the relief of unemployment among returned soldiers.
