OLD MAN’S DEATH.
HAWEBA, August 25. George Morecraft, aged 80, was found lying near a. milking shed on his son’s farm at Manaia yesterday morning with his head and face mutilated, and with a shotgun between his legs. He was admitted to the hospital, but died shortly afterwards. —(P.A.)
