SIR JOSEPH WARD.
ESTATE OF OVER £300,000. BEQUEST OF £lOOO. (By Telegraph.—“ The Age” Special.) l I WELLINGTON, August 25. The estate of the late Sir Joseph Ward has been sworn for probate purposes at £337,000. Probate of the will has been granted by the Supreme Court to the sons, Cyril and Vincent, and Mrs Wood, the executors and trustees under the will. The will, dated August 30, the will.. The will, dated August 80, 1928, directs burial at the Bluff, the disposal of correspondence (private, business or official), and bequeath s caskets, certificates, grants of freedom of cities, diplomas, presentations, and addresses to his children as the trustees think fit. The will gives £lOOO to the Home of Compassion Board, Wellington and various sums to relatives. 'Hie residue of the estate is to be divided among his children, except that the eldest son’s share is greater than the share of each other member of the *- family. r
