CARTERTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Carterton, will hold, in the King’s Theatre next Friday, a sale of work, placing before the public a tempting display of plain and fancy work, produce, cakes and sweets, and the everpopular bran tub dips. In the evening at 8 o’clock, a bright and attractive tive entertainment will be featured, including Miss Minnie Rangi and her Maori Troupe in Native songs and poi dances. Miss Jenkins and her party will also entertain in selected elocutionary items, short sketches and national dances. The price of admission at night is the small sum of one shilling, and judging by the attractive programme the public is sure to benefit, and at the same time aid the church.
