An -Auckland Press Association message reports the death of Mr. James Bishop, former manager of Brunner Collieries, the State Coal Mines, Greymouth, and the Taupiri Coal Mines, Huntly. A pleasant little function took place ’st the Buehanan Home, Greytown, on Saturday, when the inmates presented to Sister Ansticc, who has resigned, a salad bowl and silver spoons. Mr. Morgan asked Sister Anstiee to accept the grateful thanks of the men for the kind manner in wli'ch she had treated them during her service in the ward, and assured her that all wished her happiness amt prosperity in her new home. Sister Ausr>eo suitably replied.
