FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.
AMBITION OF MISS JOHNSON. LONDON, March 9. Miss Johnson is at present endeavouring to find a British aircraft firm to sponsor her flight to Australia. She has already received offers from American and German builders, but she hopes to get aid from her own people in order to make a start in May. If successful, she will return by air. Miss Johnson plans to follow a course different from those of Hinkler and Chichester.
