CANADIAN BOWLERS.
RECEPTION IN DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, February 3. A six-rink game between the Canadian bowlers and the Dunedin Centre was played on the Dunedin Club’s green to-day in glorious weather. The green was in splendid order and the manager of the team, Dr. Krupp, said it was the finest surface they had played on in New Zealand. The game resulted in a win for Dunedin by 124 to 120. A rink of Canadian ladies played a rink from Dunedin, the latter proving too strong for their opponents. The visitors were entertained at a social to-night. They will leave for Central Otago to-morrow morning.—(P.A.)
