DOMINION GRAND LODGE CONFERENCE. NELSON, March 23. At the Dominion Conference, of the Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, a remit proposing to raise the numerical basis- of representation in the Grand Ixidgo was defeated. A remit was adopted relating to the admission of junior members between 16 and 19 years into adult lodges tit reduced rates, with relative benefits. Provision «was »made for biennial estimates, for setting up various committees in subordinate lodges, for the Rearrangement of the Constitution and index and in connection with a number of minor matters. A report on the question of general bookkeeping and the registration of members was referred to the executive, together with Brothe-rs D. R. Cooper P.G.M. and G. F. Rudkin P.G., P.C.P. with power. to bring in any necessary revision during the recess. Brother M. Hooker D.D.G. Secretary for New' Zealand, advised [members of the progress made with the formation of a for New Zealand. A petition for a Charter for which is being sent immediately to the Grand Ledge of Australia. Increased sick allowances -ind immediate funeral benefits for Rebekah members were adopted.—-(P.A.) .
