Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from itheir London agents, ‘dated March 22, 1929: The auctions closed here to-day with a good tone, Bradford operating freely at the lower prices. As compared with the opening rates of this series, we quote: Greasy Merino, best, no change; greasy Merino, average, no change; greasy fine halfbreds, 50/56, 4d to Id per lb lower; greasy halfbredis, 48/50, 4d to Id per lb lower; greasy crossbreds, 46/48, per lb lower; greasy crossbreds, 44/46, id per lb lower; greasy crossbreds, 40/44, id per ,1b lower; greasy crossbreds, 36/40-, id per lb lower. Slipe wools' generally and scoured Merinos unchanged. Prices firm with good demand for scoured crossbreds.
