As nearsly all the prominent artists of New c Zealand have given pictures for an Art Union which is being conducted by the 0 Artists’ Committee, it has been sugj gested that n good exhibition of pic- ’ tures might be arranged to be included :n the Art Section ol the Wairarapa n Exhibition and that tho committee be permitted to sell there the art union u tickets. A further scheme has been put tori' ward by Mr A. Clomas, chairman of » n the Art Section. He proposes that a c book of remembrance' be produced, posd sibiy in tho style of a fifteenth een- :• ury volume, in which the autographs will appear of al! persons in the "Waii rarnpa who. subscribe towards tho National Museum fund.
