VICEROY OF INDIA.
INVITED TO ENGLAND FOR PERSONAL DISCUSSION RUGBY, March 19. The India Office 'announces that the Secretary for India, Visfeount Peel, has invited the Viceroy, Lord Irwin, to come to England in June next for a short leave, not exceeding four months, in order to secure the opportunity of a personal discussion with His Excellency. Lord Irwin has accepted the invitation provided that the .state of public affairs permits. The King has approved the appointment of Viscount Goschen of Madras to. act as Viceroy and Governor-General during Lord Irwin’s absence on leave.—‘(British Official Wireless.)
