AIRMEN KILLED.
R.A.F. ’PLANE CRASH IN RHODESIA CAPE TO CAIRO FLIGHT RUGBY, March 18. One of the four Fairey Napier Royal Air Force aeroplanes on the return flight io Cairo from Capetown crashed to-day -after leaving Gwelo, Southern Rhodesia. Sergeant Turner wne killed on the spot, while Flying-Officer Burnett died- from his injuries soon after admission to hospital. The four ’plane* under the command of SquadrcnIveader Cox I-cft Cairo on February 12 and reached Capetown last Thursday week, thus completing th© first half of their 9000 mile flight in scheduled itime. The were baiag accompanied back to Nairobi and Khartoum by four machines of the South African Air Forte. —(British Official Wireless.)
