On these days return tickets Palmerston North to Racecourse (including 2/- admission to course), price 4/-, available for day of issue only, will be obtainable at Palmerston North, Woodville, Masterton, and from guards of trains. Train leaving Masterton 7.0 a.m. (20th), 6.40 a.m. (21st), Eketahuna 8.17 a.m., Pahiatua 9.13 a.m., connects with train leaving Woodville 10.1 a.m. for racecourse (arr. racecourse 11.21 a»m.). Return train leaves Racecourse both days 5.32 p.m. for Woodville and Dannevirke and connects with train leav* ing Woodville 7 p.m. for Masterton. On March 20, usual 10.0 a.m. Master-ton-Woodville and 2.25 p.m. Woodville* Masterton trains will not run. Train for Woodville leaves Masterton 7.0 a.m., Mauriceville 7.35 a.m., Eketahuna 8.17, Pahiatua 9.13 a.m. Return train leaves Woodville 7.0 p.m. for Masterton. On March 20 and 21, usual 5.10 p.m. Palmerston-Dannevirko train leaves Palmerston 5.50 p.m. (Racecourse 5.32 p.m.).

EXAMINATION OF PLUMBERS. JJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an examination will be held by the Plumbers’ Board of New Zealand for the purpose of registration under the Plumbers’ Registration Act, 1012, on FRIDAY and SATURDAY, the 10th and 11th May, 1920, at such centres as may be decided by the Board when the number of candidates is known.
