The W.F.C.A. report on the Masterton sale held yesterday: We offered a yarding of a little over 1500 head of sheep to a large attendance. Our entry consisted mainly of breeding ewes, which were keenly sought after and ’nude values well up to late sale rates. An odd pen of wethers and also b.f. lambs met with a ready sale. Wright, Stephenson and Co., LtcL, report: We held our weekly isale at Columba Road yards yesterday, when we offered a fairly large yarding of sheep to a good attendance. Bidding was brisk for all classes of sheep, and although no very high price® were paid for ewes, the quality was not up to recent Masterton isales. We offered; a fair number of white race lambs; from the Ngahape district, and these . made good values, especially the ewe , lambs. Wethers met with a ready sale,, and prices were well up to recent rates.
