A NOVELTY PROGRAMME The programme for the evening yqyts to be held on the Park Oval on ffllurday next under the auspices of the Park Lighting Committee introduces more novelty events than have ever been attempted at any previous meeting, and as cyclo events are popular with the public, some interesting finishes should result. Another popular event will be that of the same rider finishing his 220 yards on foot in the ’novelty cycle race. The finish c*f rhe relay race should prove exciting, as the ladies are to be first to breast the tape. The six men event in the firemen's stunt is unusual, and the public will have a chance of seeing how our fire-fightcts wake up, dress xnd get to work, the whole event finishing in front of the stand under a shower cf spray and coloured lights. Competitors in all events are asked to compete freely and to be on their marks punctually.
