JOHNSONVILLE SALE Messrs Wright, Stephenson and 00., Ltd., report on thie Johnsonville sale, as follows: To the aveiragei attendance of butchers we (submitted a large yarding of cattle, sheep and lambs. Considering the lower range of values ruling for fat stock, the sale must be considered a good one. Competition for all classes of stock was keen, except for wethers, which were not in demand. The cattle offered comprised good quality bullocks and cows, and a total clearance was effected at prices slightly easier than last week’s i-ates. Sheep and lamb prices also showed a flight decline, in sympathy with the 1 recent fall in export values.
