Bradbury, the manager, states that the Wellington team’s success was not the recsuit of the collapse # of the other teams, but due.to the men’s good condition and' individual preparation to start the race’ well prepared. He understood that it was the first time in the history of the race that every centre was represented. Mr. Bradbury pays a tribute to the wonderful performance of Savidun, the individual winner.
