SALE OF DAIRY STOCK.

The attention, of buyers and others interested in dairy stock is directed to the sale- to bo held at Longbush o-nl Tuesday next on account of Mr C. Van •Praagh. The dairy cows are particularly good, and include several high grade Jerseys (sired by Sutton bulls), which have produced 300 to 469 lbs, butterfat last season, the herd of 85 head averaging about 240' lbs. per cow, of which a fair number were two-year-old heifers

(Herd-Testing Association conditions Gladstone area.) The two and three-year-old springing heifers and also the yearlings are choice Jersey sorts and should command good competition. The milking plant, separator and Anc'erson oil engine are all in good running order. As the vendor is relinquishing farming the sale is absolutely unreserved, thus ensuring' the owortunity to buyers of purchasing at their own price. Owing to the large number of lots to be submitted the sale will start, punctually at 11.30 with the machinery, farming implements, sundries, etc. Cars will be leaving the Auctioneers’ offices, Wairarapa Association, stock department, from 9 till 10 o ’clock on the morning of the sale.*
