PERSONAL.
Mr. Leslie Barber, of Masterton, who is a patient in the Masterton Hospital, is now progressing satisfactorily. The friends of Mr A. L. Morgan who has been seriqusly -ill, will be pleased to learn that he iX now making satisfactory progress. Mr. G. W. Mclntosh, general ""manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, will be retiring on penci on at the end of thia year, and Mr j, p, Grose, inspector of the Bank of NewSouth Wales for New Zealand, will succeed him in that position. Mr Grose will join tho National Bank on September 1 and take over the general management on January 1, 1929.
