LECKIE KNOCK'S OUT BARBER DUNEDIN, August 12. In the Drill Hall last night, before an attendance of over 6600, Johnny Leekie, 8.135, knocked out Tommy Barber, 8.135, in the third round. Barber was sent down on four occasions in this round and showed remarkable gameness before he went down for the last time. It was apparent from the outset that each of the contestants was concentrating on a knock-out. Leekie was well ahead on points when the end came,—(P.A.)
