LITTLE INTEREST IN ELECTION. (Received Wednesday, 7.15 p.m.) HOBART, May 30. Polling day for the general election of the Legislative Assembly concluded a quiet campaign, the electors manifesting slight interest. Most of the meetings were very poorly attended. There are seventy-two candidates for thirty seats. The candidates consist of 36 Nationalists, 25 Labour and 11 Independents.—(P.A.)
