HEENEY AND TUNNEY.
TRAINING OF CHALLENGER ABOUT TO BEGIN. (Received Wednesday, 7.45 pm) NEW YORK, May 30. Heeney engaged in his first active sparring drill in preparation for his fight with Tunney at a local gymnasium to-day. The challenger, in addition to general exercising, boxed two rounds. His manager stated that Heeney would visit his Fairhaven training quarters to-morrow and intends to begin serious training on June 7.—(Australian Press Association.)
