GOLF TOURNAMENT.

MASTERTON CLUB’S ANNUAL GATHERING. 1 DRAW FOR CHAMPIONSHIP. To date forty-eight entries have been, received for the qualifying round of the Wairarapa golf championship and handicap trophy, to be competed for at the third annual tournament of the Masterton Golf Club. The tournament commences on the Lansdowne links on - Saturday, when the qualifying rounds will be decided. Included in the competitors, are several notable players from the Hutt, Heretauuga and South Wairarapa clubs. The course is in excellent order and given fine weather the tournament should be quite as successful as those of previous years. The draw for the first round of the championship is as follows (the first pair of players from both No. 1 and No. 9 tees will commence at 9 a.m., and each succeeding pair at four-minute intervals m the order given):— From No. 1 Tee.
