MULTIPLE SENTENCES.
VIENNA, May 21. Baja Omerovie and Ivan Makstimovic, two notorious Serbian criminals, were sentenced at Belgrade to be hanged fifty-eight times. They Iv.ve been sentenced to imprisonment for 180 years apiece. They broke goal and committed many more atrocities after being sentenced. In 1924 they were recaptured. The sentences conform to code, providing a separate sentence for every offence.—(Australian Press Association—United Service).
