A NAPIER PROJECT.
SOLARIUM AT HOSPITAL. AUCKLAND, May 22. ' The Minister of Health (the Hon. J. A. Young) was questioned about his attitude towards the proposal to erect a solarium on the top of a hospital ward at present under construction at Napier. I Mr. Young declined to comment on the decision of Dr. Valintine to veto the Napier Hospital Board’s acceptance of a gift bf £3OOO for this purpose. “I have nothing to Say beyond the fact that I have given my assurance to the Hospital Board that I shall send the Director-General of Health to Napier at an early date with the object of discussing the matter on the spot with the board and the medical superintendent,” he said.—(P.A.)
