NOT WANTED in ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE. DISAPPROVAL OF MAGISTRATE’S DECISION. WANGANUI, May 22. At a meeting to-night of the Wanganui St. John Ambulance Brigade, the following motion was carried: “That * ll6 i W l anganui Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade places on record its disapproval of Mr. E. I|. Mosley, S.M., of Christchurch, who, dealing with a reent ease of objection to military training, allowed the claim of defendant providing he remained a member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade until he reached the age of 21. As members of the Brigade Department of rd ?£ the senior branch ot the Red Cross organisation of the British Empire, we enter into a specific agreement, to maintain such a standard of orgtnised efficiency such a standard, prepared to serve as auxiliaries to medical establishments of either the Navy or the Army in time of war, as well as to civic authorities or the Health Department of the Government. This being the case, our ranks are not made up of objectors, conscientious or otherwise, but of men prepared to help to win a war or to serve the community m times of peace.” A copy of this resolution is to be forwarded to the Magistrate and to all divisions of the Brigade throughout the Dominion.—(P.A.)
