LOYAL MASTERTON LODGE / AFFAIRS. The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Masterton Lodge was held ob Monday evening, N.G. Bro. L. T. Young. j The Y.M.C.A. wrote asking the Lodge to enter a billiard team to com- I pete for the Rigg Bros? Cup. It was decided to enter a team, and Bro. C. H. Devenport was appointed captain. It ■was decided that the Juvenile Lodge be opened at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 4. The election of officers for the ensuing six months resulted as follows:— Noble Grand, Bro. L. Ball; Vice-Grand, Bro. T. Young; elective secretary, Bro. S. Harman; conductor, Bro. L. Finlayson. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the retiring 1.P.N.G., Bro. J. C. Johnston, and it was decided to forward a Lodge P.G. emblem to Bro. Johnston at Napier. B™- iJ*’ granting Bro. L. vv. Ball leave of absence from the next two meetings, on behalf of the Lodge conveyed to Bro. Ball the best wishes of all members, in view of his approaching marriage.
