A HAPPY BANQUET.

MOTHERS AND SONS AT Y.M.C.A. The Mayoress, Mrs. T. Jordan, presided at the annual Mother and Son lea, which was held in the Y.M.C.A yesterday. There was a large attendance, about 160 persons being present, and the gathering proved a very happy one. A good programme of musical and elocutionary items was rendered, and was thoroughly appreciated by all the A HBn ?y side « President of the Y.M.CA., spoke a few words of welcome, after which the tea commenced. .
