To Improve the Tone TO IMPROVE THE TONE OF A GRAMOPHONE THAT HaF A WOODEN AMPLYFIER take 2ozs. Orange Shellac, |oz. Pale Resin, j-pint Spirits of wine—keep agitated at intervals in a warm atmosphere for approximately 12 hours. Dust amplyfier and give two coats of the lacquer at intervals of not less than two hours. This lacquer is splendid for renovating any part of the woodwork that has become worn, or old furniture, but where the stain has gone restain the part before applying the lacquer. If you do not care to make the lacquer bring a small bottle and we will supply for 6d enough to do the amplyfier twice. N.B.—Should any joints of the amplyfier be sprung seal airtight with a mixture of 1 part linseed oil and 6 parts tough beeswax before applying lacquer.
