POPPY DAY.
THE WAIRARAPA 'APPEAL. “Will you buy a popgy?” In tho Wairarapa to-day, 5500 poppies are to be sold, and it is hoped that the publie will respond to the appeal to purchase a poppy and wear it on Anzac Day as a token of remembrance of our fallen soldiers. After the payment of expenses the balance of the fund will be utilised in the district for relief of unemployed returned soldiers.
