Briand and Dr. Streseinann will attempt to reach a preliminary agreement on outstanding questions such as the Sarre, and to secure the approval Of Britain, Italy, and Belgium thereto, before the December meeting of the League Council, in order to avoid a public discussion of delicate affairs.—’(A. and N.Z.).
