Anjother manifestation of anxiety is that (business people, wholesalers and retail. Jers, are taking holidays,, explaining: “My goods are my gold reserve. I shall not sell until I know the price at which I; can replenish, my stoek,. soI am putting up the shutters in the meantime,”
Presumably to prevent alarm, the Post Offihe has forbidden the broadeasting of prices of' currency, stock, shares and commodities.— (A. and N.Z.)
